"Reluctant Messiahs"

Richard Bach wrote of "Illusions" and the path and plight of a "Reluctant Messiah". To the east the sun is born, even on a morning such as this when dark, dreary, heavy clouds fill the sky and blanket any radiance. Yet to the west where much of the world still sleeps, beautiful splashes of red break through defying all logic and understanding of preconceived ideas and notions. Something is wrong? The sky has woken up in reverse today! Really? The sunrise, appearing to be reluctant in it's morning ritual, regardless of "signs" fulfills its true calling each day. The world is dotted with illusions. The most difficult to discern are those in human form. Illusions are cast as gospel and truth, a "figment of the imagination", a "slight of hand" masquerading the real truth. Much can be learned from the morning sky, even when it appears to awaken in reverse. I for one celebrate the "reluctant messiahs" wandering the earth over any deceptive ones.
